Damaged, Defective or Wrong Item
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide the following:
- Clear photos or videos showing the issue
- Photos of the outer packaging
- A photo of the shipping label If the issue is not reported within 48 hours
we may be unable to verify whether the damage occurred during transit and may not be able to honor the claim.
Resolution Policy
We will review each case individually and provide the most appropriate solution based on the nature of the issue:

If the damage affects the product’s functionality or safe use, we will offer a full replacement, or a full refund, depending on availability and customer preference.

If the damage is cosmetic only (such as surface scratches, small dents, minor paint marks, or slight deformation that does not affect functionality), we will offer a partial refund or compensation, based on the severity of the damage.
Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections may occur during international transportation and do not qualify for a full refund if the item remains fully functional.
Who covers the return/exchange shipping cost?
We can accept any return within 14 days after receiving.We will be responsible for any item arrived damaged, defective or wrong item shipped. For all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Under no circumstance does HomeinFun reimburse for return shipping costs incurred by the customer. If you are shipping an item over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Shipping costs for orders are always the responsibility of the customer.
Please note full refund will be issued only after we received the returned product in original condition.

Claims without complete documentation (photos, packaging, shipping label) may not be approved.

Damage caused by use, installation, modification, or improper handling after delivery is not covered.
Can I cancel an order?
You can cancel an order within 8 hours of placing the order by sending us an email. Please understand cancellation is not accepted once your order starts to process.
*If an order is cancelled at the customer's request before shipment, payment processing fees charged by the payment provider (typically 5%) may be deducted from the refund.
What if I entered a wrong shipping address?
Once your order is shipped out, there is nothing much we can do to amend the shipping address. If you have entered an incorrect address, you will need to get in contact with the residence of the address you had originally provided to receive your package. If this address does not exist, insufficient, or undeliverable, it will be hold temporarily by the shipping carrier and eventually discarded if not claimed in time. While the tracking online might say the package returned to sender, it was in most cases being hold at some processing station of the shipping carrier (not in our hands). Those packages will be discarded by the carrier if not claimed in a timely manner. In this case, shipping fee will be deducted from refund after the product is returned to our warehouse in perfect condition.
If you notice an incorrect shipping address, please email service@homeinfun.ca with your order details immediately. We will do our best to help resolve it with the shipping carrier. There is no guarantee and may occur extra charge for the change of address.
It is the responsibility of the customer to review their shipping address and information for accuracy before completing the purchase. Refunds or exchanges will not be issued on the basis of an incorrect or undeliverable address.
Unclaimed Package & Redelivery Policy
If a customer fails to claim the package in a timely manner, resulting in a return or other issues, please note that international shipping costs are substantial. In such cases, after deducting both outbound and return shipping costs, the remaining amount may be less than or equal to the value of the item itself, meaning no refund will be issued.
In line with standard industry practices followed by major international e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon and independent stores), if a package is returned due to non-collection and the customer requests redelivery, a new shipping fee must be paid before the package is resent. Customers will have 7 business days to arrange payment for redelivery; otherwise, the package will be considered abandoned, and no refund will be issued.
Additionally, if a package remains unclaimed at a local warehouse for an extended period (over 2 weeks), we are not responsible for any damage that may occur during this time. Customers must contact the local logistics company directly for any claims. If a package remains unclaimed for 30 days, it will be automatically deemed abandoned, and no refund or compensation will be provided.
To avoid additional fees and potential issues, we strongly recommend tracking your package regularly and ensuring timely collection.
